KOPER 2005KOPER 2005: Learning about European countries' culture and getting to know culture & customs of Slovenian coastal zone TIMETABLE Day 1, 02.08.2005, Tuesday - Arrivals of participants and accommodation in student's house in Moretini - Possible places for picking up: or LJUBLJANA or railway station in TRIESTE (Italy), or railway station in KOPER - lunch - sightseeing of neighbourhood of student's house (depends of arrivals of participants) - dinner - ice-breaking games and contact making activities Day 2 08:00 - 09:00 breakfast 09:30 - 10:00 official opening of the exchange + distribution of name tags 10:00 - 12:00 ice-breaking (games) workshops 12:30 - 13:30 lunch 14:30 - 15:30 - presentations of MSMOK (Mladinski svet Mestne Obcine Koper) and Students organisation of University of Primorska (SOUP) - distribution of bulletins, publications etc & T-shirts + group photo 15:30 - 18:00 workshops: 5 groups of 7 people: Elaboration of a panel: - expectations about the exchange Koper 2005 - associations about Slovenia and Koper - antecedent/anterior experiences about Youth exchanges elaboration of a panel about participating countries and their organisations 19:00 - 22:00 learning other cultures and habits -> Food exchange 22:00 - ......... sociable games Day 3 08:00 - 09:00 breakfast 09:30 - 12:00 workshop: Getting to know about local traditional game: Pandolo - team of Students’ Club of Koper “Brutta me la vedo” 12:30 - 13:30 lunch 14:30 - 19:00 sightseeing: - Skofije and Morgan line (border line between two parts of Independent state of Trieste after the World war II) - Natural park Debeli rtic + swimming in the Adriatic sea (social gathering with local youth) 20:00 - 21:00 dinner 21:30 - ......... intercultural evening: Learning about foreign music Day 4, 05.08.2005, Friday 07:00 - 08:00 breakfast 08:15 departure from Moretini (bus) cca. 08:30 arrival in Koper: - reception at mayor’s (cca. 30 min - 1h) - sightseeing tour of old city centre (cca. 1,5h) cca. 12:00 castle of Socerb: - lunch packet - sightseeing of the castle + view of the Coast and hinterland - workshop cca. 14:30 arrival in Koper: - learning about youth structures in the city centre (cca. 2h) - presentations of countries and meeting with local youth + discussion - free-time for shopping (and possibility for swim) 20:00 - 21:00 dinner in Moretini 22:00 choice: - departure for Koper and experiencing local night life - spending the rest of the evening in Moretini 02:00 gathering and organized transportation to Moretini; others get on their own (taxi) Day 5 07:30 - 08:30 breakfast cca. 09:30 arrival in Bernardin -> boat Subaquatic - sightseeing of sea life + sea bottom Piran: sightseeing of one of the oldest & most beautiful Slovenian towns cca. 11:50 lunch cca. 13:20 departure from Piran with boat Big Red to Izola cca. 13:55 sightseeing of the most beautiful city on Slovenian coast - town of Izola cca. 15:30 sport activities on the beach in bay San Simon (Izola) meeting with local youth: - beach volley: match KP'05 vs. local youth... 20:00 - 21:00 dinner with sea-fruit in Moretini (fish or something like that) 22:00 choice: - departure for Belveder and experiencing local night life - spending the rest of the evening in Moretini 02:00 gathering and organized transportation to Moretini; others get on their own (taxi) 6. dan 08:00 - 09:00 breakfast 09:00 - 13:00 workshops: - sea: impressions, wishes & experiences - life by the sea - small lecture about olives and production of olive oil + questions - questionnaire regarding the lecture 13:30 - 14:30 lunch 15:00 - 19:30 workshop: - learning slovene (words) through games and interesting anecdots + quiz - making dictionary of languages of participating countries for all participants 20:30 - ......... “Roštiljada” (roasting-spit dinner) cca. 22:30 J “Frucovanje” J –> cultural evening - games with prize (prizes of Fructal) Day 7, 08.08.2005, Monday 07:30 - 08:30 breakfast 09:00 - 13:00 workshops: - KKK (kayak canoe club) Zusterna: rowing with kayak - activities on SRC (sports recreational centre) Bonifika with youth from high schools 13:00 - 14:00 lunch (Moretini or Koper) 15:00 - 19:00 evaluation of whole project 20:30 - .........
